Meet Dr. Edwin Webb
When I was 12 years old, I knew I wanted to be a dentist. I’m fortunate that I was able to pursue my dream, and, since completing dental school, I have lived it every day! After 30 years of being a dentist, I still love what I do and look forward to coming to the office in the morning.
Dentistry is a way of connecting with and helping others. I am blessed to have so many unique and interesting patients. I love learning each person’s stories and sharing a few of my own. This builds a bond of trust and respect and helps people understand I am here to assist them achieve their dental goals.
Being a dentist means having the ability to move a person out of pain and help the patient regain enjoyment in life. I’m also able to rebuild and improve oral health, which enables people to chew comfortably and eat what they want.
My favorite process, though, is restoring a smile. I can’t tell you how rewarding it is to work with someone who starts treatment feeling withdrawn and self-conscious, and seeing them blossom as they look in the mirror and love what they see!
Our Practice
My team is made up of the most competent and caring people in Austin, bar none! They are the best, brightest, and most compassionate professionals. Very few practices have as much combined, hands-on experience as we do. We offer advanced care, a conservative approach, and the knowledge of what does and does not work for different situations.
Because we provide comprehensive care, it’s rare that we need to refer a patient to another practice. Instead, everyone has their procedures done here, in a familiar, safe environment, where they know my team and me.
Education and Continuing Education
I attended the Austin University of Texas and then the University of Texas Houston Dental School, where I was awarded my Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Since completing my degree, I’ve taken hundreds of hours of postgraduate dental education. Dentistry is ever-changing, and continuing education ensures I stay up to date with new technology and advances in techniques and materials.
By carefully evaluating new approaches to care, I’m able to determine the best ones to incorporate in the practice. My patients deserve high-quality dentistry, and continuing education is one way I can ensure I exceed their expectations and deliver the best results.
Outside the Office
A Texas native, I have been lucky to call Georgetown home for more than 20 years. I’ve been married for 25 years now, and we have an adult daughter. When I’m not caring for patients or enjoying time with my family, I really like being at the lake and love listening to live music. I play the guitar, myself; how many dentists do you know who play and sing AC/DC?!
